"Black Cat"(1991)
"Black Cat" directed by Dickson Poon is basicly theHong Kong remake "La Femme Nikita".The film stars Jade Leung as a Chinese woman in The U.S.A who kills a policeman. She is given the choice of death or to become an assasin .This film was really dissapointing as I had bean told it was very good. The plot is outrageously unbelievable and the action scenes have no style .I would not recomend this film to anyone .If you want to see a good assasin movie see "The Killer" but dont bother seeing "Black Cat" or its even stuipider sequal.

"Naked Killer"(1995)
"Naked Killer" stars Chingmy Yau and tells the story of a young atractive woman who seeks revenge of the man who killed her father. After killing him she is taken in by a female assasin who teaches her how to be successful as an killer. There is also a cop on her trail played by Simon Yam. This was quite a successful movie in both the Hong Kong box office and western video shelves. I found this movie very entertaining as it had an interesting plot ,good performances and decent action.I would describe this movie as a stylish erotic-thriller and one I realy did enjoy.
"A Taste of Killing and Romance"(1994)
Veronica Chans "A Taste of Killing and Romance"stars the popular Andy Lau as an assasin in HongKong .Andy fails to terminate one of his targets and so Hong Kong's best hitman is out to get him.Andy then becomes romanticly involved with a rival assasin played by Anita Yuen and there begins a batle to stay alive. This is a decent movie with a good plot and o.k action scenes. This movie could have bean a lot better if directed by John Woo but it was still quite entertaining.
"Prison On Fire"
Ringo Lam's "Prison on Fire" is a gritty prison drama that revolves around two inmates. When one of them notices a triad inmate steel a pair of scissors a war of grudges erupts with violent confrantations between prisoners and even the wardon.I enjoyed this movie because it seemed quite realistic especialy Chow Yun Fat's good perfomance.Ringo Lam has constructed a good plot that includes emotions from joy to hatred. The climax is especialy entertaining and I give it my strong recomendation. Chow Yun Fat's character in this film resembles Paul Newman's in the classic 1967 film "Cool Hand Luke".
