Why I Chose Them...
Trying to compile such a short list is a challenging task when so many movies from Hong Kong have been exceptionally entertaining .The list includes some real classics from martial arts, heroic bloodshed and crime dramas.I have had to leave out some good movies as the list is very short so email me if you have some comments or criticisms.

1 "The Killer"(1989)
This is my favourite movie from Hong Kong because of its brilliant action scenes which are incredible. The story line is well structured in comparison to most Hong Kong actioners .Chow Yun Fat is verygood in the role of Jeff the assasin and Danny Leeis also good as the cop. John Woo's gun fight scenes are way better than most Hollywood films andI realy think all action fans should see this film and if you havn't go get yourself a copy.
2 "Police Story"(1986)
This is truly a spectacular action movie that was a huge hit in Hong Kong . Some of the action scenes are brilliant especially the climatic fight scene in the shopping mall . All Jackie chan fans will love this film and I think it's his very best. The film also has some good stunts such as the the double-decker bus and the shanty town car chase scenes.

3 "Once Upon a Time In China 2"(1992)
Tsui Hark's "Once Upon a Time In China 2" is myfavourite of all Jet Li's films.I realy enjoyed the film's cinematography and set designs which were outstanding. The action scenes were also good which were done in the "wire fu" style. Both period kung fu and Jet Li fans will enjoy this film.
4 "Enter The Dragon"(1973)
No list of Top Hong Kong movies would be complete without an entry from the legendary Bruce Lee."Enter The Dragon" directed by Robert Clouse was Bruce's biggest world wide hit and sadly his last completed film. I realy enjoyed the films action scenes especialy the fight were Bruce takes on Bob Wall. The film is a true clasic and my favourite Bruce Lee movie. I recomend this to all kung fu fans who will be highly entertained by Bruce's charisma and athletisism .

5 "The Adventurers"(1995)
Ringo Lam's "The Adventurers" is a valuable entry to my top 5 list. The film stars Andy Lau in one of his best performances. The film has a wellstructured story line and good action scenes.I realy enjoyed this movie and it is an outstanding piece of Hong Kong action Cinema. The film excels in almost every area and the performances by the supporting cast are very good especially Rosamand Kwan. I highly recommend this action/drama to all Hong Kong movie fans who I think will enjoy a top notch movie.
